Web Brennan graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Florida in 1989. He was admitted to practice law in Florida in 1989. Web is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Web is recognized as a board-certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy and has achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell (its highest rating and a rating by one's peers). Web is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Web is an Eagle Sponsor for the Florida Justice Association (FJA) (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers). He served as the President of FJA from 2004-2005 and is now, as past president, a board member emeritus. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association since 1997. Web is also a past president of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association (TBTLA) where he served as its president in 2003-2004 and remains a member of its Board of Directors.

Web was recently selected for inclusion in the 25th anniversary edition of "The Best Lawyers in America". Web was also selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers" (a publication which selects the top 5 percent of lawyers in the state of Florida).

Web's July 2007 verdict for approximately $62 million (approximately $45 million after comparative negligence) was selected by Lawyers USA as one of the top 10 verdicts in the United States in 2007.

Web is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association; The American Bar Association; The Florida Bar; a sustaining member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America - ATLA); the Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers - AFTL); Public Justice (formerly the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice); and the American Inns of Court. He and his firm only handle civil litigation matters representing injured plaintiffs. Web's practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, nursing home neglect and legal malpractice.
